Conduct of Safety Officer Inspection

- Have any fixtures or fittings that may pose a hazard been identified, marked or cushioned?
- Are guardrails in place and secure?
- Openings - fenced or otherwise protected
- Ladders in use - properly secure and at a safe angle?

- Safe to enter
- Lighting adequate?

- Ventilation adequate?
- Tools, stores, loose gear tidied away?
- DGs stored safely?
Conditions
- Guarding of machinery
- Safe Operating Instructions displayed
