What is the use of this Day Signal?
A vessel is engaged in mine clearance operations
What is the use of this Day Signal?
A vessel is restricted in her ability to manoeuvre
What is the use of this Day Signal?
A vessel constrained by her draught
What is the use of this Day Signal?
A vessel aground
What is the use of this Day Signal?
A vessel restricted in her ability to manoeuvre engaged in underwater operations - hazard to the left and clear to pass to the right
What is the use of this Day Signal?
A vessel engaged in fishing other than trawling with outlying gear extending more than 150m horizontally from the vessel
What is the use of this Additional Signal for vessels engaged in trawling?
ZULU - I am shooting my nets

GOLF - I am hauling my nets

PAPA - My nets are stuck fast upon an underwater obstruction

225° (see from right ahead to 22.5° abaft her beam)
What is the arc of visibility of a SIDELIGHT?
112.5° (see from right ahead to 22.5° abaft her beam either side)
What is the arc of visibility of a STERN LIGHT?
135° (see from right astern to 22.5° abaft her beam)
What is the arc of visibility of a TOWING LIGHT?
Same as a Stern Light
