Q

5 ligaments of sacroiliac joint?

A
  1. interosseous: posterior side. fills space between sacrum & iliac tuberosity
  2. Posterior sacroiliac: covers interosseous. level layers
  3. Anterior sacroiliac: anterior aspect
  4. Sacrotuberous: SP > Ischial tuberosity
  5. Sacrospinous: SP > Ischial spine

4&5 hold distal sacrum in place against weight bearing forces
