A

includes both GFP and CAP. Including material, equip, special tooling, special test equip and real property (DOES NOT INCLUDE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR SOFTWARE)

A

property furnished by the Government to the contractor.

What is Contractor Acquired Property?

A

property the contractor has acquired. fabricated, or otherwise provided byt the KTR to perform the contract and to which the Government has title.

GFP provided “As-Is”

A

GFP should be used for it’s intended purpose. If not, the contractor notifies the Government and may be authorized to make repairs (may also be entitled to REA)

Is the KTR alloed to inspect GFP prior to delivery?

A

Yes and if the GFP becomes not fit for its intended purpose, then the KTR is responsible for costs to repair.

Increase, decrease, substitute, or withdraw authority fo GFP

A

Only when it is in the best interest of the Government
Only when the overall benefit outweighs increase costs
Only when it does not substantially increase risk to the government.
