- dyspepsia
- nausea
- allergic reactions

A
- Known or suspected allergy to paracetamol
- Previous paracetamol dose in last 4 hours
- Children without sufficient gag reflex to swallow dose
- Children

- Impaired hepatic function

Does not necessarily prevent febrile convulsions
Still provide active cooling measures as well as checking for cause of temp
Do not exceed 60mg/kg/24hrs
