  1. Bronchodilator
  2. Blocks vagal reflexes which mediate bronchoconstriction
  3. Possibly more effective when used in combination with salbutamol

Onset 3-5 mins, duration 2-4 hrs

A

Administer with every 2nd dose of salbutamol

Adult (>6 yrs) - 500mcg

  • 4 x 21mcg (4 puffs)

Paediatric (<6 yrs) - 250mcg

  • 2 x 21mcg (2 puffs)
