severe epi pain that radiates to back, nausea and vomiting

erythema abigne, cullen’s, grey’s turners (bruises on abdo and ubilical)

USS = best, bloods, CT for severity, glasgow
what complications can occur from pancreatitis
necrosis, abscess, shock, pseudocyst
how do you manage acute pancreatitis
analgesia and AB’s
what is a pseudocyst
biliary obstruction with or without outflow obstruction
what are the symptoms of a pseuodocyst
pain, nausea, vom and wt loss, treat with drain
how do you treat and diagnosis an abscess and necrosis
CT/ USS, drain
what is chronic pancreatitis
progressive and irreversible damage leading to loss of function
how do you diagnose chronic pancreatitis
CT and CXR
