Dosage
A
- IM administration:
- 3-10 units after delivery of placenta
- IV administration:
- Mix 10-40 units in 1000 mL if nonhydrating diluent: Infused at 20-40 milliunits/min
- Titrate to severity of bleeding and uterine response
