- Cyanosis
- COPD with hx of CO2 retention

Dosage and administration
A
Adult and Ped:
- Instruct pt to inhale deeply
- Invert cylinder several times before use

- Preg Cat: C
- Increased risk of spontaneous abortion
- Ventilate pt during use
- Gas is not flammable or explosive
- Ineffective in 20% of population
