Dosage

• Adult:
  
  • 2 - 2.5 mg slow IV push over 2-3 min
  • May repeat to total dose of 0.1 mg/kg
• Not for peds

Special considerations

• Monitor resp and cardiac function
• Never give as a bolus
• Give just prior to intubating
