Describe the first stage
Performers need to watch an accurate demo aimed at their ability level with cues identified, the demo mustn’t last long to avoid boredom and over-complication
Describe the second stage
Performers make a mental image of the skill they need to learn and use mental rehearsal to sequence the sub-routines
Describe the third stage
The physical movement to execute the skill, learners must have the ability to learn either progressively or as a whole
Describe the fourth stage
The performers must want to learn the skill
