What is the asch experiment?

A

The experiment where strangers were asked a question and many responses with the wrong answer. It was found that even when most gave the wrong answer and people knew the right answer, they wouldn’t speak out and say the right answer. It showed that people conform to what the majority say even when they know that they are wrong.
