Scleroderma
A
Is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease characterised by hardening (sclero) of the skin. When it is severe, it also affects internal organs.
Physical findings usually include Raynaud’s phenomenon, swollen edematous fingers, and capillary loop abnormalities in the nails.

Inflammatory Myostitis
A
Is a disease featuring weakness and inflammation of muscles.
Often need long-term immunosuppressive therapy.

Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis
A
A systemic disease that affects both granulomatosis and polyangiitis. It is a form of vasculitis. Damage to the lungs and kidneys can be fatal.
Requires long-term immunosuppression.
Corticosteroids are needed.
ANCA antibodies can help diagnose.
