A
Alpha and beta adrenergic activity with potent inotropic effect and coronary artery vasodilation.

Considerations
A
Inject 4 mg /4 ml vials (16 ml) into 250 ml of NS. (64 mcg/ml). Risk of extravasation, use large peripheral veins or central line if available.

A
CNS: Headache
CV: Tachycardia, hypertension, dysrhythmias
