A

Short term parenteral treatment, particularly for patients with increased ICP / subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Adult Dose

A

Dilute to 0.1 mg/ml. Start infusion at 50 ml/hr (5 mg/hr). May increase rate by 2.5 mg/hr every 15 minutes until desired BP is reached. Max dose is 15 mg/hr.
