What are the four factors of leadership?

A

1) Leadership - have a honest understanding of who you are, what you can do and what you know.

2) Followers - Different people need different styles of leadership. You must know your people and their BE KNOW DO attributes.

3) Communication - You lead through two way communication. Much of it is “non verbal” = setting an example.

4) Situation - What you do in one situation may not be approrpiate in another. Must use judgement to decide best course.

3)Human Nature - needs, emotions, reactions under stress

5) Your organisation - where to go for help, climate and culture, unofficial leaders

DO:

1) Provide direction - goal setting, problem solving, decision making, planning

2) Implement - communicating, coordinating, supervising, evaluating.

3) Motivate - morale and spirit in the organistion. Train, Coach, Counsel.

Perhaps ask whether the “nose felt light” during the take off which would probably lead onto a discussion regarding over rotation.
