- Declare an EMERGENCY
- Proceed to Nearest suitable Airfield

- Make reassuring PA to Pax

If necessary the PF may pull sidestick fully back.

- Autopilot disengages if AoA > Alpha Prot
- If no FD bars displayed, pitch towards 17.5º.
Then if necessary, to prevent loss of ALT, increase pitch attitude.

- RECOVER SMOOTHLY TO NORMAL CLB

General Rules of Engagement
Do you always need to react to a
“WINDSHEAR AHEAD”
or
“GO-AROUND WINDSHEAR” ?
When a PREDICTIVE W/S alert
“WINDSHEAR AHEAD” or “GO-AROUND WINDSHEAR”
is triggered.
If the flighcrew makes a positive verification
that NO HAZARD EXISTS, then the alert may be
DISREGARDED, as long as:
- No other signs of Poss. W/S conditions
- The reactive Windshear Sys is Operational
ALWAYS RELY ON REACTIVE WINDSHEAR
