Lots of DDI (CYP3A4 and 2C9)

Single dose given at onset of labor and another to baby within 3 days- prevent transmission (50-75% effective)
Rash- maculopapular, spares palms/soles
Liver toxicity - women, higher CD4 count, esp with HBV/HCV
Rilpivirine
+ Emtricitabine + tenofovir = once daily tablet
Pregos**
No DDI ID w/ other anti-retroviral agents
