Released form the pituitary
Stimulated ovulation at day 14
Stimulated the remians of folloicles to become a corpus lutenum which makes progestrone
What does oestrogen do
Released from ovaries,
Causes the thickening of the uterus lining
Stimulates a LH Surge
What does progestogen do
Released from Corpus lutenum,
Maintains lining of uterus
Inhibits the release of FSH and LH
What would happen if levels of progestogen decrease
The uterus would start to break down
What is puberty
