What is the purpose of insulin
Removes glucose from blood stream by stimulating the liver to turn glucose into glycogen
What is the purpose of Glucagon
Causes the liver and muscles to turn glycogen back into glucose which can then be used in cell respiration
how does adrenaline help with fight of flight?
activates processes that increase supply of oxygen and glucose to cells
What is one way an egg cell is specialised
The egg cell’s cytoplasm contains nutrients for the growth of the early embryo.
