What is the Atkinson-Shiffrin model
A
- everything is processed into sensory memory
- stimuli that we attend to are passed into short term memory
- some info is further encoded into long term memory

How can retrieval occur from long term memory to short term memory
A
when a long-term memory is regenerated, it becomes short term memory again and is encoded back into long term
