Aneurysm:
a bulging, weak area in the wall of an artery that supplies blood to the brain. In most cases, a brain aneurysm causes no symptoms and goes unnoticed. In rare cases, the brain aneurysm ruptures, releasing blood into the skull and causing a stroke
Dilantin:
Dilantin is a drug prescribed to control grand mal seizures (a type of seizure that causes a sudden loss of consciousness immediately followed by convulsions) and temporal lobe seizures (a type of seizure that affects smell, taste, sight, hearing, memory, and movement).
Dilaudid:
(hydromorphone) is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic. Dilaudid is used to treat moderate to severe pain
Exotropia:
outward turning of the eyes – a common type of strabismus
Gastrostomy Tube:
Gastrostomy is a surgical procedure for inserting a tube through the abdomen wall and into the stomach. The tube is used for feeding or drainage.
Kay-Ceil:
This medication is a mineral supplement used to prevent or treat low amounts of potassium in the blood
Keppra:
Used to help control certain types of seizures caused by epilepsy. This medicine is an antiepileptic.
Lidocaine:
a local anesthetic (numbing medication). It works by blocking nerve signals in your body. Lidocaine injection is used to numb an area of your body to help reduce pain or discomfort caused by invasive medical procedures such as surgery, needle punctures, or insertion of a catheter or breathing tube.
Ptosis:
drooping or falling of the upper or lower eye-lid
Vertigo:
a sensation of spinning. If you have these dizzy spells, you might feel like you are spinning or that the world around you is spinning
