Cholecystectomy:
procedure to remove the gallbladder. It may be necessary if you experience pain from gallstones that bock the flow of bile.
Cipro:
antibiotic belonging to a group of drugs called fluoroquinolones. Fights bacteria in the bod and used to treat different types of bacterial infections. It is also used to treat people who have been exposed to anthrax
Colostomy:
In simple terms, a colostomy is when the colon is cut in half and the end leading to the stomach is brought through the wall of the abdomen and attached to the skin.
Dermatome:
an area of skin that is mainly supplied by a single spinal nerve.
Dialysis:
medicine, dialysis is a process for removing waste and excess water from the blood, and is used primarily as an artificial replacement for lost kidney function in people with renal failure.
Diplopia:
double vision
Dysphagia:
difficulty swallowing.
Dyskinesia:
distortion or impairment of voluntary movement, as in tic or spasm
Dyspnea:
difficult or labored breathing; shortness of breath.
Tendonitis:
inflammation of a tendon
