Bradycardia:
Slower than normal heart rate
Cyanosis:
A bluish color of the skin and the mucous membranes due to insufficient oxygen in the blood
Cytopenia
deficiency in the number of any of the cellular elements of the blood
Hyperkalemia:
refers to the condition in which the concentration of the electrolyte potassium (K+) in the blood is elevated
Lipitor:
Prescription drug. Lowers high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Reduces the risk of chest pain, stroke, heart attack, or certain heart and blood vessel problems.
Lovenox:
Helps reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis to help avoid a potential pulmonary embolism in patients undergoing abdominal surgery, hip-replacement surgery, knee-replacement surgery, or medical patients with severely restricted mobility during acute illness
Percocet:
Treats moderate to moderately severe pain. This medicine contains a narcotic pain reliever. Combination of: Oxycodone and Acetaminophen
Pulmonary Embolism:
when one or more pulmonary arteries in your lungs become blocked. Usually caused by blood clots that travel to the lungs from the legs or rarely other parts of the body (deep vein thrombosis, or DVT)
Prophylaxis:
action taken to prevent disease, especially by specified means or against a specified disease
Tachycardia:
Tachycardia is a faster than normal heart rate at rest.
