Solution- Federal Judiciary act was passed in 1789 and it gave the supreme court six members; there was a chief judge and five associate justices. That number has increased to nine

Problem- U.S barrowed millions from France, Nether lands, Spain. Most government leaders said that we must repay its dept to win the respect of foreign nations and its own citizens. if the nation failed to do so no country would lend it money in the future
Solution- In 1790 Hamiton said they
-should pay off all war depts
-raise government revenues
-create national bank

Why did Hamiltons plan not work

A

Because sectional differences arose over repayment of state debts, Virginia, Georgia, and many southern country’s had already paid there debts and didn’t like being asked to help Northern states pay theirs
