What is Maury?
Maury AOC produces a sweet fortified wine in Roussillon in France based on Grenache, as well as white and amber wines based on Grenache Blanc.
What types of wines are produced in the Cotes du Roussillon?
Concentrated still white, red, and rose wines are produced in the Cotes du Roussillon. Generally Southern Rhône blends.

Where is Corbieres and what types of wines are made there?
Languedoc. Mostly red GSM blends, but whites and roses are allowed.

Where is Fitou and what wine are allowed?
Fitou is in Corbieres in Languedoc. Red wines only are permitted, based on Grenache and Carignan. One of the oldest AOCs in the area.
What is Terrasses du Larzac?
An AOC in Languedoc producing red wine only. Had previously been a subzone of the former Coteaux du Languedoc AOC
What is La Clape?
An AOC in Languedoc producing both red and white wines. Had previously been a subzone of the former Coteaux du Languedoc AOC
What is Muscat de Rivesaltes?
A white vin doux natural fron Rousillon produced using Muscat grapes (both Muscat Blanc a Petits Grains and Muscat of Alexandria). Also make a Christmas version known as Muscat de Noel that must be bottled no later than Dec. 1 of the harvest year.
What is said to be the oldest purposefully produced sparkling wine in France?
Limoux Méthode Ancestrale.
What is Crémant de Limoux?
A traditional method sparkling wine made using Chardonnay in Languedoc-Roussillon.

What is the Côtes de Gascogne?
It is the IGP for Southwest France. The main grape grown in the region is Ugni Blanc.
What is the I’Ile de Beauté?
The IGP for Corsica. 50% of the wine in the region is bottled under this IGP.
