- It is an acute febrile systemic disease that is associated with necrotizing vasculitis of small and medium-sized arteries
major Concern in Kawasaki Disease
The major concern with this illness is its tendency to affect coronary arteries

Bilateral conjunctival injection without exudates

- Hands & feet
- Erythema & edema in the acute phase
- Periungual desquamation in subacute phase

- Cervical Lymphadenopathy

- Exclusion
Exclusion of other diseases with similar findings e.g.: measles
