-Increases heart rate

-Smoker experiences fatigue as it is harder for oxygen to get to all organs

A

-Tar in nicotine irritates lining of the bronchioles in the lungs, which causes inflammation and bronchitis

-Damages hairs in the lining of the tubes, resulting in extra mucus to be produced. Bacteria will now breed instead of being swept out. Chest infections and smoker’s cough develops xxxx

-Difficulty absorbing oxygen because alveoli are damaged. Causes emphysema

-Cells can multiply out of control, leading to cancer
