• Impairments in at least 2 of: communication, self-care, home living, social skills, community use, self-direction, health and safety, functional academics, leisure & work
Onset before 18

Based on Severity
What is mild Intellectual Disability?
IQ: 50 - 69
Functional age 9-12yrs
What is moderate Intellectual Disability?
IQ: 35 - 49
Functional age 6-9yrs
What is severe Intellectual Disability?
IQ: 20 - 34
Functional age 3-6yrs
What is profound Intellectual Disability?
IQ: <20
