What are the steps of the laser printing process?

A
  1. Processing - build the entire page in memory
  2. Charging - Prepare the drum with a negative electrostatic charge
  3. Exposing - Write the image to the photosensitive drum using laser.
  4. Developing - Surface of drum exposed to laser is now applied with negative charged toner.
  5. Transferring - Move the toner from the drum to the paper.
  6. Fusing - Toner is fused to paper using pressurized rollers and heating element that reaches 200 degrees c.
  7. Cleaning - Rubber blade removes excess toner from drum as it spins. An erasing lamp removes any excess charge on drum.
