What is a difference between a BIOS user password and a BIOS supervisor password?
A
- A BIOS user password will prevent a users system from starting. No operating system will load without the BIOS user password
- With a BIOS supervisor password the operating system and computer will start up just fine, but if any user tries to change the BIOS configuration settings they will be unable to do so without the supervisor password. This restricts BIOS changes
