A
  • You outsource( purchase) your needed equipment for your cloud from a 3rd party.
  • You are still responsible for the management of this equipment it’s OS and applications data and for it’s security.

How does Saas work?

A

With Saas( Software As A Service) a Third Party provides you remote access to OS, applications and is responsible for managing it’s data for you. E.G. taking care of payroll info in cloud based accounting software. Another example would be gmail/ outlook etc which manages your email.

A

With PaaS you do not need to worry about servers, or other network equipment or for any of the software either. The platform is completely handled by a Third Party and all you are responsible for the development./ designing.
