- be direct but gentle

When is it appropriate to cut off?
- member is rambling

What is linking in group coaching?
A technique used to bridge sharing or discussion from one group member to the next. This allows the group member to see how their experiences and problems can connect with others and how they might share similar struggles and concerns.
When group members are hurtful by saying something that might be inappropriate or judgmental, we want to react by correcting the offending group member’s wrongful behavior and modeling positive interactions.
