Hostage or Barricaded Subject

STS procedure for a hostage or barricaded subject is;

Establish a command post. (When possible a telephone communication should be established with dispatch), Determine necessary officers, give safe routes to respond to the scene, establish perimeters, secure witnesses and question on suspects info/motives, ensure all coms are routed through the CP.

Question 3

The OIC will maintain coms w/caller or officer until others arrive at the scene. OIC will interview caller and will get as much info as possible. Then will make the following notifications
