What does a collective identity mean for a team?
This means a team can be recognised easily since they are usually wearing the same colour kit.
What does interaction mean for a team?
Team members should operate in their own role successfully and be able to link this role with other members
What does communication mean for a team?
This is where individuals within the team talk to each other or communicate non-verbally
What does a shared goal or purpose mean for team?
The prospect of achieving success is what often keeps players in the team

What is forming?
- Group comes together
- Bonding occurs
- Roles and responsibilities are unclear
What is storming?
- Many teams fail as there is conflict
- Cliques are formed
- Establishment of goals
What is norming?
- Social connection
- Authority figures are established
- Goal is clarified
What is performing?
- Team members support each other
- Individual roles and responsibilities are completely understood
What is mourning?
- Goals have been achieved
- Team may disband
- Sense of job done
How does the length of time to complete Tuckman’s model vary?
- Size of the group
