Risk factors

  • AGE

Dry - MOST COMMON

Wet - worse prognosis
-choroidal neovascularisation
-antiVEGF
GOLD STANDARD - slit lamp
Amsler grid - straight lines look wavy
Fundoscopy - drusen
OCT - retinal visualisation
Fluroscein angiography - if neovascular disease suspected

Definitive - surgery
