What is capitalism?
It is an economic system that encourages the concentration of wealth in the hands of a small number of people.
How did capitalism affect the architecture in the cities?
It led to the creation of working class districts and wealthy business class districts.
Describe feminist movements in the early 20th century.
Feminists focused on attaining suffrage (the right to vote)
Name an opponent of the feminist movements.
The church, and/or conservatives
Describe mass culture in the early to mid 20th century.
The emergence of films, radio, movie theaters and urbanization.
How will the Church’s conservatism be expressed in the early 20th century?
It will be present in all aspects of society and even intervene in politics. For example they made sure that Sundays would be respected and businesses would not operate.
