What are goals?
A
Goals should be set short and long-term. They should be checked and reviewed regularly. They should focus on the performance weakness

Why set a goal? (3)
A
- gives a target to aim for or focus on
- motivate but if target is too easy it equals poor results if target is too hard it’s demotivation
- improves and optimises training, better training equals better results
