What is body composition?
‘The relative ratio of fat mass too fat free mass in the body’
How does body composition vary in each sport? (sumo, boxer, long distance runner?
sumo wrestling (high percentage body fat), boxer (high percentage muscle mass), long distance runner (low percentage muscle and fat)
What is muscular endurance?
‘The ability to use a voluntary muscles many times without getting tired’
How is muscular endurance adapeted?
Develop with weight and circuit training
What is muscular strength?
‘the amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance’
How is muscular strength adapted?
Developed by weight/resistance training
What is flexability?
‘the range of movement possible at a joint’
How is flexibility adapted?
Develop with stretching in warm up/cool down
What is CV endurance?
‘the ability to exercise the whole body for long periods without tiring’
What is coordination?

‘the ability to change direction quickly whilst in control’
