Sportsmanship?
A
Set of unwritten rules or code of behaviour that a player stand by when competing. Each sport has its own code of behaviour and ‘sportsmanship gesture’, helping/respecting players

A
- After an injury in football the ball is kicked out after an injury occurs to a player. thrown back into team with injured player
- Respect in rugby after a match both teams form a tunnel and clap each other off
- In golf when taking a shot everyone is quiet

- A large emphasis on winning
- Monetary rewards (increased wages and for sponsorships)
- Media hype up events

Bending the rules to gain an advantage over opponents

- Sledging in cricket (saying hurtful things in ear of batter)
- Taking injury time outs during a tennis game
- Over appealing in cricket
- Standing in front of a snooker players shot line
- Stepping on players putting line in golf
- Feinting an injury with 2 min left in a game when you are winning
