In order to engage in a vehicle pursuit, the member must actually and reasonably believe:
-Fleeing suspect has committed or attempted to commit a crime of violence OR poses an immediate threat of death or serious bodily injury to others
-The pursuit is immediately necessary to protect another person (other than suspect) from serious bodily injury or death, and not likely to cause serious injury or death to any person
-AND all other options have been exhausted/no reasonable

The secondary unit will disengage from the pursuit to provide medical assistance and take reports of injuries and property damage.
