Name some bacterial UTI classifications.
Acute pyelonephritis, cystitis, acute urethral syndrome, asymptomatic bacteriuria, urethritis.
Define UTI
When bacteria ascend the urethra to the bladder.
Define Pyelonephritis
Occurs when bacteria is introduced into the ascending renal tract from the ureter.
Define Urinary Retention
Occurs when the patient cannot completely empty their bladder.
Define Urolithiasis (Renal Calculi)
Forms when the urinary concentration of substances increases.
