Formulas Flashcards
Cardiac Output
Stroke volume x pulse rate
Kinetic energy
kinetic energy = 1/2 mass x velocity^2
To calculate kinetic energy, we use the formula kinetic energy = 1/2 mass x velocity^2. Kinetic energy is the energy of motion, so any moving objects have kinetic energy okay so kinetic energy the formula we use for kinetic energy is one half times the mass of the object time the velocity of the object squared.
Newton’s 2nd law of motion
Force= mass x acceleration
Newton’s 1st law of motion
An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an outside force
Frank starlings law

Blood pressure
Cardiac output x systemic vascular resistance
