Predicted that memories of highly emotional events will be exceptionally clear, detailed and accurate. Q

What plays a critical role in FBm

A

Event exceeds critical levels of surprise, a permanent record of the details and circumstances surrounding the experience is created. Emotional events are better remembered than less emorional events- because of the critical role of the amygdala which is in the temporal lobe which is critical to the brain’s emotional circuit and in emotional memories.
