what are the CS’s for Moniezia spp.?
usually hosts are asymptomatic but with heavy infection in lambs & kids, unthriftyness, diarrhea, and even intestinal ubstruction.
If an animal is ill and the farmer notices proglottids in the feces of his animals it is common for them to blame Moniezia spp. for the porblem.
why is that a problem for you the vet?
it may just be masking a bigger problem that is really causing the illness.
