Gonadorelin
GnRH analog with short t1/2, pulsatile secretion stimulates release of LH and FSH
Used to diagnose hypogonadism, stimulate ovulation, infertility in men
SE: anaphylaxis with multiple administrations, lightheadedness, flushing
Goserelin
GnRH analog with longer t1/2, inhibits FSH and LH, desensitizes receptors
Used to tx endometriosis, fibroids, prostate cancer, breast/ovarian cancer, amenorrhea and ifnertility in women with PCOS
Histrelin
GnRH analog with longer t1/2, inhibits FSH and LH, desensitizes receptors
Adjunctive in prostate cancer, breast/ovarian cancer, amenorrhea/infertility in PCOS
