EMER LIGHTS OFF?
Disarms EMERG LIGHTS system.
EMER LIGHTS ON?
Turns on EMERG LIGHTS system. Powered by their own batteries.
EMER LIGHTS ARMED?
Allows all EMERG LIGHTS to come on automatically if power to DC BUS 4 is lost.
EMERG LIGHTS consist of?
- Door
- Aisle
- Exit
- Exterior Lights
How long will EMERG LIGHTS last?
15 minutes on a full charge
How are internal EMERG LIGHT batteries charged?
DC BUS 4
When do supernumerary masks drop automatically?
When Supernumerary Switch is in NORM and cabin altitude reaches 14,000’
When does supernumerary oxygen flow control unit reset?
Will close electrically w/supernumerary oxygen switch in RESET, when cabin altitude below 12,000’
What indication for oxygen flow on Oxygen Mask Panel?
Yellow Cross
What does “N” mean on O2 mask?
“NORMAL”
Means an air/oxygen mixture is being supplied on demand - depending on cabin altitude.
Oxygen Mask Emergency/Test selector moved to EMERG position does what?
Supplies 100% oxygen under positive pressure at all cabin altitudes. Protects against harmful smoke and vapors.
How is O2 mask microphone activated?
When the left hand door to the mask stowage box is opened.
How do you know that the O2 supply valve is OPEN?
An OXYGEN ON flag appears in the mask compartment near the left hand door.
How do you shut off O2 after use?
- Stow mask
- Close LH door
- Push and release RESET/TEST switch
Properly stowing O2 mask after use does what?
- Shuts off oxygen
- Stows flag
- Deactivate mic
- Reactivates boom mic
Where are crash axes located?
- Main Deck Left FWD Sidewall
- Flight Deck Stowage Compartment, Left Side
