  • Be receptive to corrections.

  • This should encourage the employee Example:
  • “I want you to know you are a valued employee. I am confident that you are going to get through this and I am committed to helping you do just that.
  • The employee may not agree with the discipline, however, they must understand that the behavior will not be tolerated.
