A

Purpose: Remove genital warts (which may indicate HPV infection a risk for cervical cancer), removal of benign polyps. Women who took DES during pregnancy are also at higher risk for cervical cancer and biopsy may be taken
Procedure: Wire wand used to take biopsy of cervix and/or vaginal wall.
