My firm has secured document storage, backs up files, sharing information through a protected software, has format standardisation, data sharing with external internal teams.
What are the key information parts of the General Data Protection Regulation?
It has European coverage that does not impact assessments and sets out the rights public have to information stored about themselves it states how it is controlled. The accountability of that information and that all breaches should be reported in 72 hours.

4% of your companies turnover or 20 million euro’s, whichever is greater.
What are the public rights for GDPR?
You have the right to be informed, access, rectification, erasure, restrict processing, portability, object automate decision making. All of this information is available after 20 days from request.
What are the six principles of the Data Protection Act 2018?
Processed lawfully & transparent, collected for specific reasons, only relevant data, accurate and up to date, only kept for how long needed, stored correctly.
How would you protect a file?
Firstly zip the file which both compresses and encrypts a file before sending them through to our secure mail system.
What information do you as a company retained?
We retain staff records, photographs, contractor information, and a database information such as bcis.
What is BIM?
